How We Came to Be...
SP Cafe started out as a small business in Chicago, Illinois where the owner’s younger sister attended university. In order to afford the tuition, the owner established a small bakery stand near the university and proceeded to name it after a French bakery where her younger sister frequented in the past, as it was her favorite bakery.
The owner started out small, selling only pastries near the campus to a diverse demographic of customers, majority of them being college students. After her sibling graduated, the owner’s family moved down to Texas for a fresh start, where she officially opens SP Cafe in San Antonio, expanding her menu to not only dedicate to creating French pastries, but a selection of traditional Vietnamese comfort foods and drinks as well.

Our Mission
Savoureux Patisserie Cafe is a French inspired Vietnamese Cafe that is locally owned in San Antonio, Texas. The cafe serves not only French pastries, but popular comfort foods that are renowned in the country of Vietnam.
As a small, but growing, business, our priorities consist of not only serving high quality foods and drinks, but also spreading our culture and educating incoming customers who aren’t familiar with Vietnamese culture and those who enjoy indulging themselves in the taste of Vietnam.
